Last updated: October 1, 2026
Agreement
These terms govern your use of PkgTrace. By creating an account, signing in, scanning dependencies, or using paid features, you agree to these terms.
Use of the Service
You may use PkgTrace to analyze repositories, packages, and dependency files that you own, maintain, or are authorized to evaluate. You are responsible for the data you submit and for keeping your account credentials secure.
Accounts and Organizations
You must provide accurate account information and keep organization access limited to authorized users. You are responsible for activity performed through your account or organization workspace.
Scanning Results
PkgTrace provides risk signals, scores, and recommendations for engineering decision support. Results may be incomplete, outdated, or affected by third-party data availability, and should not be treated as a guarantee of software safety.
Billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe. Subscription access, limits, renewals, and cancellation behavior are shown in the product or Stripe customer portal. You are responsible for applicable taxes and fees.
Acceptable Use
You may not abuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer protected systems, overload third-party APIs, or use PkgTrace for unlawful activity.
Availability and Changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service as needed. We may also update these terms, and continued use of PkgTrace after changes means you accept the updated terms.
